Miguel Kertsman has designed the curriculum for the new Master of Arts Program in Music for Applied Media, and re-wrote the curriculum for the Master of Arts Program in Music Management at Danube University Krems, Austria where he serves as Faculty and Academic Director for both programs. Kertsman is a guest Lecturer at Ivy League Dartmouth College in the US.
He has designed the course “Principles of Sound and Acoustics for Classical Musicians”, while serving as Faculty at IES Abroad University Consortium, Vienna Center, on Composition, Music Improvisation, and Recording Arts.
He has helped design the Recording Arts curriculum, and has served as Recording Arts Faculty and Artist-in-Residence at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy (a unit of Robert de Niro’s Tribeca Enterprises) whilst holding lectures, seminars or colloquia at universities such as: the Sibelius Academy and Arts University in Helsinki, Northwestern University, Evanston / Chicago, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and others.
His educational videos and tutorials on Music Aesthetics, Film Scoring, Keyboard Playing and Music Synthesis are appreciated worldwide by students, music lovers and fellow professionals alike.
