Amazônica: Enter the Heart of Brazil
Amazônica is a celebration of the Brazilian people’s unique sound. It is an ethnomusicological research project also featuring compositions and performances by Miguel Kertsman, in collaboration with artistic forces including a Renaissance Music ensemble, percussion ensembles, choirs, folklore music artists and Brazilian street musicians.

Música, Mito e Mistério
At 16, Miguel Kertsman wrote all the music and most of the lyrics for his very first solo album “Música, Mito e Mistério”! The album was released in 1983 by Fermata Records in Brazil on LP / Vinyl only and is long out of print. It can occasionally be found on trade sites such as E-bay, fetching substantial bids.
