Miguel Kertsman’s ecological call of awareness in orchestral form is once again performed: Amazônia, Symphonic Poem for large Orchestra, Organ and Percussion performed in Vienna.
Miguel Kertsman curates and hosts — as one of the keynote speakers, among several illustrious international guest speakers, and as moderator the “Music, Business, and Arts Forum: The Future is Now”. The event takes place in Vienna and is presented by the WKO, Austrian Federal Economic Chamber External Economy Affairs – “Go International” Initiative, and Danube University Krems, Center for Applied Music Research on October 11, 2019.
Miguel Kertsman returns to the French-Czech Summer Music Academy on July 14, 15 2019 in Telc as Composer-in-Residence holding Master Classes and Workshops on Contemporary Music Performance, and the Music Industry concerning Classical Musicians.
Miguel Kertsman’s new work “Concerto Carioca for 2 Pianos & Percussion” was performed at the Liszt Festival Raiding on June 15 by Eduard Kutrowatz, Johannes Kutrowatz, Josef Gumpinger and Georg Hasibeder for the first time.
Miguel Kertsman’s orchestral piece “Journey for Bassoon and Orchestra”, which was featured on his Naxos release last September, was performed live for the first time ever in Oberschützen and Graz with soloist David Seidel conductor Martin Kerschbaum and the Oberschützen Orchestra in May 2019!
This Concerto was recorded with bassoon virtuoso Martin Kuuskmann and the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Dennis Russell Davies.
